You can get the latest version of repo by running "git clone https://gerrit.googlesource.com/git-repo -b stable" and grabbing the repo launcher from there. We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox. It deletes .repo in the current directory when it should be deleting .repo from the root of the checkout.
