I've googled and googled this issue, most people don't get 'Unspecified error' (from the event log), they usually get 'Access denied', the one person that I noticed received something similar (http://forums.iis.net/t/1044577.aspx) I'm wondering if Sharepoint extensionsare involved in this issue. it is the only app in the pool and it is a new pool.The account it runs under is a member of IIS_WPG. Verify minimum needed permission for ASPNET account to run applications. Error: 0x80070005 Access is denied. Yes, my password is: Forgot your password?
