After a hard time to find the source of the problem, we find a very simple answer. I did that, then joined the PC in question to WORKGROUP and back to the domain after a reboot.

I have to edit my environmental variables with devmgr_show_details = 1 and devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1, go into Device Manager, show hidden devices, and remove the network card that is ghosted.
